I have been married for only 7 months, and my wife is pregnant. She has kicked me out on several occasions and this last time she called me told me to come get my things because she is moving back home, however she now claims that I abandoned her. She was fired from her job two months after getting married, and we only lived together 5 of those seven months of marriage. Will I be responsible for alimony?
You may have supported her for the brief time you lived together, but if she seeks alimony, she may find that the process isn’t worth the amount to which she would be entitled.
