I sent off my answers to a divorce complaint; post-dated for the final day of the 30 day allotment. Will my answers still be considered or are they thrown out because they did not make it to the courts before the thirty days. I am overseas in Germany; is there a possible clause that allots additional time for submission?
You could have filed for an extension, but that too would have to have been filed before the 30 day time period expired. If the other side makes a motion to have your answer dismissed the court will rule on that issue, and may give you a bit of a break since you are over sees. It is up to the judge.
