Been separated 15 years

So my Husband and I have been have been married 15 years. And of those 15 years we have been separated. Before we married we had two sons. And we married not long before our 16 year old turned one. We only stayed together for about a month and 1/2 . l left him and took our children as he was becoming more abusive and dangerous. I then found out I was pregnant with our third child. I never went back. He has never paid child support. And I have never had the money for a divorce. He chose to be homeless. As I raised our boys. We don’t keep in contact. He blames me for separating our family. Which is fine. I have dated over the years. And here recently have restarted another part of my family. I have two other sons which are not his but legally he is the father. As far as his own sons. His rights were taken from him. I need to get this separation moved to a divorce and put it behind me. I don’t have much money but I need to know where to go from here. Also nobody carries his last name. So last names are not an issue. What do I do?

You will need to file for an absolute divorce in the county in which you reside. You need to make sure you have an address for your husband to serve the divorce complaint on him. If, with due diligence you are unable to locate and serve him at a current address, you can serve him by publication in the newspaper in the city of his last residence.
