Please explain to me the different types of custody - joint, sole, etc. and the benefits, disadvantages of each. My husband wants joint custody of our 16 year old daughter, and I don’t know what that involves or how it affects child support or my ability to move out of state.

We are trying to put together a separation agreement in a civil manner - one that we can then take to attorneys for legal drafting, actions, etc.
