Child Support

The child must be out of high school (up to age 21 I think). When the child is both over 18 and graduates HS the support terminates.

Great job almostdone! Yes, child support terminates when the child reaches age 18 or graduates from highschool…which ever occurs last. Thank you.

The only reliable manner to obtain complete and adequate legal advice is to consult with an attorney, fully explain your situation, and allow the attorney sufficient opportunity to research the applicable law and facts required to render an accurate opinion. The basic information provided above is intended as a public service but a full discussion with an attorney should be undertaken before taking any action.

The order of child support does not state specifically the age of the child has to be when the support is to be discontinued. What is the age according to NC law? Thanks!
