Conflict of interest during divorce

I recently paid a local attorney for a consultation about divorce. I disclose confidential information about domestic violence and other information about the marital estate and finances with the lawyer during the consult.

Now my spouse has gone to the same attorney to retain them as their lawyer.

Is this legal?

Or is there something I can do to fight it because it is a conflict of interest?

This may be a prohibited conflict of interest.
