Court

I am trying to figure out the precedure for going to all the way up to the US Supreme Court.

First State Court.

The Court of Appeals State Court.

Then Court of Appeals Federal Court.

Then NC Supreme Court.

Then US Supreme Court.

Is this the path all the way up to the US Supreme Court?

Cases either move through their state judicial system or a case moves through the federal system with the final appellate court being the US Supreme Court for both systems.

How do I get the case from state to federal? I am going to trial in the state court; how can I appeal to the court of Appeals in Federal court?

The US Supreme Court is the only federal court to have jurisdiction to hear appeals from state court. If it is not too late, and there is federal jurisdiction in your case, you can move for it to be removed to federal court.
