I started a new topic because I did not want to confuse anyone.
In North Carolina if 2 people get married and move into his or her house(meaning only in 1 of their names) and the spouse passes away that the house is titled in that the other spouse has to move? I thought in North Carolina if 1 spouse passed away that the property belonged to the other spouse. Where can I read up on these laws? Thanks so much.
