Hello, well unforunatley my wife and I are not working out. We have been living seperate for about a month and a half already. However, we have not filed any papers or anything yet. My question is, do we need to file for seperation legally, or just need to be living seperate?
You don’t need any official documents to show that you are separated. The day you stopped living together is the Date of Separation. You should consult an attorney to determine if you need a Separation Agreement to resolve any property, custody or support issues arising from your separation.
