Erotic Massage In NC-Anyone else dealt with it in court?

Has anyone else dealt with a spouse who received several “erotic massages”? I have significant evidence (at least 100 calls to these services, atm withdrawals where the dates comply with the phone calls, etc.) that these occured and my spouse has admitted to them. I am wondering if they are illegal in NC and if a judge would deem them as adultery? Isn’t it commonly assumed in our society that an erotic massage (both parties are not clothed) usually implies a happy ending  -sorry to be graphic?

Erotic messages, phone chat/sex, webcam interaction, ‘happy endings’…with no physical contact is not legally considered adultry. It’s like pornography really. Masterbation isn’t illegal.

It MAY show inclination if these 2 ever DID get together physically. But it seems your husband has an addiction to porn…not illegal…unless it involves minors.

The messages by themselves are not illegal, however they can be used as evidence that your spouse committed adultery.

MASSAGES Not Messages…so there was contact-direct physical contact and both parties are naked

Did he go to a massage parlor? Or a reputable spa that offers massages? I know that some ‘massage parlors’ are questionable as to what they offer, but if he ever got caught in one of those, I don’t see that he’d be charged with anything but possible accepting soliciation of ‘sexual acts’. If he regularly went to the parlor and regularly saw a particular woman, then MAYBE…but it’s really stretching it. You’d have to prove the massaged included sex…which means you probably need a picture or admission.

SOunds like he’s admitting to the massage parlors and you have to decide if you want to live with that or not. Trying to go after the massage therapists would be a waste of time and money. And your husband would most likely get a slap on the wrist if you tried to bring up the acts in court.

These were erotic massages from adult services off of craigslist and some from backpage-which are also classified under escort services. So they were not at a parlor-most likely they occured at a hotel. THanks for your help!
