I read in another post that the fees are $161. Probably a stupid question, but I need to have all my ducks in a row to get this divorce rolling, is that all the fees total, or will I be surprised with another cost down the road? The divorce is uncontested and there is no property to divide.
I believe the fee went up by a few dollars today- $167 is the fee for filing an absolute divorce. You will also need to pay the $15.00 fee to have your ex served by sheriff. Those are the only two fees you will incur for an absolute divorce.
