Yes, he got a mortgage, but also placed a down payment on the residence (as per deed of trust). I do not know how much he put down on the house. He also outright purchased a 40,000 vehicle and several thousand dollars worth of furniture and appliances. None of this was addressed except for the fact that he said he had a five year plan to spend 50,000 a year on refurbishing his house and paying off his mortgage. Stated this at trial. Thanks.

What circumstances would allow a spouse to purchase property before a divorce is final without a free trader agreement? This happened to me and I’ve never been able to figure out how the ex was able to purchase a house without an express agreement allowing this to occur. What are the circumstances that allows this??? I’d really like to know!
