A friend of mine just lost their job. The ex-spouses have 50-50 custody. Can my friend’s ex-spouse get full custody due to the lost job?
NO. Job loss should not affect custody at all.
The job loss in itself is not a factor which would constitute a substantial change affecting the welfare of the children in so far as custodial time goes.
