That was quick:0 I don’t understan what is seperate / if the bussiness is in my name and trucks shouldn’r he be resonsible to pay any money or can i leagally take the truck back?

Greetings again. Anything created or earned during the marriage is marital (so from the date of marriage through the date of separate). If things are solely in your name, but acquired during the marriage they are marital. If there is debt in just your name and the vehicle is just titled in your name, it appears that you are responsible right now and only your credit will take a hit if they are not paid. Now, at court, the equitable distribution will make him pay some of these fees, but how much is speculative and depends on who is using the vehicle and why.

ive been in an abusive relationship for 19 years The x is ten years younger than I am I have a 10% disability from a truck accident .Since day one i have kept a roof over his head he camre in to relatoionship with nothing i had sold my house in Ct in 88 we were not married I paid cash for it we lived there 14 years we were married in 90 i bought house in 88 never had to pay rent I had bought rental property which he wanted no part of i paid all the bills he worked when ever. in 9196 we were involved in truck accident I was hurt received a sttlement for a lot of money after surgery etc. he benifitted from all the money i receive I bought a dump truck let him run it.He took it right over i was taking money i had in cds to pay bills and fix the truck when we had break downs We moved to another house i put the money down he decides he doesn’t want to pay morgatage so he fights with me to move .after fighting and threatning he leaves only if he Takes dump truck and only car we have .I bought anouther dump truck in may i got a lone from my son and a small finance co . I can’t afford to stay here so i have to move. He took one payment thats owed on the truck and car and left me with a 20,00o0 loan we took on a house that was paid for no place to move. Bought trucks are in my name insurance, And bussiness?? I have an appointment on tuesday with an attorney but by then i’ll be just about moved ( how stupid i sound typing it out dummy dummy ) But it was done for both of us to have a nice house and money any help will be appreciated
