I have a home surveillance system that records both audio and video, i do have signs posted on all doors stating that once entering the home you are under video surveillance , however, it doesn’t specify that audio is also being recorded.
Do I need to add to my warning stickers that audio is also being recorded?
Would those recording be permissible if i needed them for divorce?
There are a lot of rules that relate to spousal spying that you should be aware of when recording conversations that you are not a party to. I am unaware of any case with facts similar to yours where there has been a posting regarding a recording, so I cannot speak directly to this situation. That said, if you already have a posting that parties present are being recorded, one could infer that would include audio, but you could add this distinction for complete transparency.
