Bought house jointly in 2005 (not married until 2011). Both are on mortgage and deed. Is it martial property? Thanks.
If both parties names are on the title and mortgage, then both parties are owners of the home, and marital funds were used to build equity in the home during the marriage. This will need to be distributed like any other piece of marital property.
