Imputing income for the purposes of child support

#1

I’ve been a sahm for 4 years my husband told me he was leaving me 4 weeks ago, 2 weeks ago i went back to work part time (and consider myself lucky i found it so quick) my question is will my income be imputed at min wage for 40 hours a week since my youngest child is over 3?

my understanding was that income was only imputed if it was found that one party was supressing their income in bad faith, which is not the case here. When i’m calculating child support do i use my actual income or the min wage at 40 hours a week?

Is this a NC/ChildSupport law or is it up to the judges discretion? Thankyou.

Use your actual income. He’d have to prove you’re acting in bad faith to impute income.
