Income for Child Support Calculation

My ex wife recently received a settlement in the form of a court judgment for her part of ownership in a family business. The settlement was substantial and to be distributed to her in one lump sum. My question is would this settlement be considered income for purposes of calculating child support. I am thinking it may fall under capital gains per the childsupport guidelines (?) If it is considered income, is it non recurring? How do the courts usually calculate the income if a portion is non-recurring?

The money would be classified as income, and since it would be non-recurring, you could be awarded a pro-rated amount or percentage of the same for child support.
