Is Disability Pay included in Child Support?

Under the NC Child Support Guidelines, gross income includes “income from any source,…including but not limited to income from salaries, wages, commissions, bonuses, dividends, severence pay, pensions, interest, trust income…[and yes], disability pay and insurance beneifts…” Note there are some exclusions to gross income, such as all benefits received from means-tested public assistance programs.

I am currently on long-term disability but am back to work partially (30 hours per week). I am subject to taxes on the disability pay. Is this disability pay included or can it be excluded in calculating child support?
