My X works for the USPS and has a base salary of around $50,000.00. For the past 5 years he has made an additional $15,000-$20,000 in overtime per year which results in an annual salary of $65,000-$70,000.00 per year. His tax returns for the past 6 to 7 years reflect his salary to be between $60,000 to $75,000 consistently.

He has recently told me that child support is based on the base salary only, not overtime and has taken it upon himself to lower my child support. I have no formal child support court order.

I am filling out paperwork to send to NC Child Support to get to the bottom of this.

Is overtime included in the amount he is supposed to pay me???
