Leaving marital home before separation

Hi,
Just a quick question on how to get started with separation and divorce. I want to run basically because I fear that he will physically stop me or take my car. It is in his name and the insurance is also. Just for cheaper rates. I don’t want the house or any furniture inside. I just want my clothes, decor, books and cookware. I plan to get an apartment and separate my paycheck to a different account and take half of our combined bank account. All without him knowing hopefully. Years of emotionally abuse and financial abuse has led me to this. I am the breadwinner. How can I get back in the house to retrieve the rest of my stuff at a later time?
Thanks

It’s best to take as much as you possibly can when you initially move out, particularly things of value, things with sentimental value, and essentials. But be sure not to intentionally damage, destroy, or dispose of any marital property until equitable distribution is finalized.

During the negotiations for equitable distribution, you will be able to provide a list of the remaining items that you need from the home (go ahead and start on that list before you move out), and a time for you to retrieve the agreed-on list will be set up in the separation agreement or court order.
