Sorry, missed the second part - it depends on how soon you can go to parenting class (if required in your jurisdiction) and how soon the case coordinator can set the case. You, or the other parent, must set the hearing. The court generally does not do this for you. Thank you.

Hey, I have another question about all of this. I have a feeling she may bail and move to another state. Which means she won’t attend mediation or anything. What happens then?

Greetings. If she fails to attend custody mediation, the court will sanction her for not attending. Then, if she fails to show for a properly noticed hearing, you win. Thank you.

I have orientation in Novemember, how long after that does it take to acutally go to mediation?
Also, if mediation fails, how long till we go to trial?
