Motion to quash

I have more questions about motion to quash subpoenas. I just realized that the motion has not actually been filed with the clerk because it was mailed after the deadline. The deadline to file motions was September 4, and this was typed up on September 8 by ex’s attorney, with certificate of service showing that it was sent to me and the 3 companies where I had sent subpoenas. What exactly does this mean? Does it mean that technically it has not really been filed yet as the next deadline to file motions would be October 4th? or is there a different procedure for filing motion to quash subpoenas? I checked the court schedule and this is not included on the calendar to be heard on our next court date.

I am not sure what you are asking. There is no prescribed number of days that the motion has to be filed within, so long as it is before the folks were subpoenad responded by providing the information.
