Mutual child support

Is there anyway my child’s father and I can write up a mutual agreement for child support and file it with the courts without having to go to court?

Yes. The best way to do that and it be enforceable is to draft a consent order for child support, both of you sign it and have your signatures notarized, then file a friendly complaint for child support for the purpose of having the consent order entered. Then you can submit the consent order to the judge. You won’t have to go to court and appear in front of a judge because the issue will have already been settled.

You can also draft a contract and have both of you sign it and have your signatures notarized or go to child support enforcement and they will help you get a child support order entered, even by consent.
