Ownership in question

My husband been driving a vehicle that he said is not his. Is it legal to do a title search on the vehicle to see whose vehicle it belongs too?

In addition, if we still share a bank account, in name only, will I be responsible for any new loans open during the separation?

Without being law enforcement or a private investigator and searching license plates or vehicle information for a valid reason in that capacity, I’m unaware of how you would conduct such a vehicle search.

Any loans taken out/acquired after the date of separation are the separate debt/separate responsibility of the spouse that acquired them. Your name being on a related bank account is irrelevant to this determination.
