Paying PSS order

My spouse was awarded an amount of PSS that Iam not able to pay. I was told by my attorney that If I have to choose between paying other monthly obligations such as credit card bills, that I should pay my ex support to keep hia attorney from filing a motion of contempt. Does this make sense, that I would allow my monthly bills go along with my well establised credit in order to pay spouse PSS?

I am not a financial advisor, but I I would tend to agree with your attorney. If you are found in contempt for failure to pay PSS enough times, you could end up in jail.
