Permanent Custody Hearing

I had a temporary custody hearing, and calendared a hearing for permanent custody because I wanted more time. Since I scheduled the hearing, my stbx and I have come to an agreement which we both think is fair and reasonable. We both dropped our attorneys in an effort to reach this agreement. Can we present the schedule we agreed upon to the Judge? Do we actually have to go through with the hearing?

If you are in agreement you will not have to go through with a hearing. You may present your agreement to the judge and he or she will have you both testify that you truly agree and that you were not coerced in anyway to forgo your hearing, he or she will then issue an order in accordance with your agreement.
