My husband and I live in separate homes in NC. We are trying to sell our home in Virginia which still has some of our possessions in it. My husband has been removing possessions and documents from the home at will. Is this legal ?
Unless there is a court order preventing him from doing so, he may remove items of personal property from the home. The property he takes should be accounted for in a final distribution.
