Qdro

Sorry, I forgot to ask this in last post. My ex’s attorney has written up an order. What does this sentence mean?

“That the Court will retain jurisdiction to enter such qualified domestic relations order or decree of separate maintenance as may be required to transfer said property.”

Lastly, there is another sentence in this Order that says, “That each party shall have any and all other funds currently in their possession, and each will waive the right to seek any payment from the other at any time in the future.” She had filed for alimony/maintenance 2 years ago. Will the sentence immediately above drop that or should I have something explicitly added that would unequivocally spell this out? If so, what should I add?

Thanks.

The sentence referring to the funds is not made in reference to alimony, it refers to property. You need to request that your spouse dismiss her alimony claim with prejudice.
