Question about service / 30 day rule

The county you live in may be one that automatically schedules the divorces. The thirty day waiting period begins on the date that he signed the green card that you received. You should file the Affidavit of Service as soon as possible.

I filed for divroce on Sept. 25th and my STBX was served by mail a couple days later. I did receive the card back and have not yet filed the service affidavit.
I was under the impression I had to wait 30 days then file the service affidavit and at that time get a court date.
STBX did not and wasn’t going to answer the complaint.

However, I received a court notice that my case will be on Nov. 14th. Did someone jump a step at the courthouse, or am I wrong, and they can schedule the date without the service affidavit as long as its past the 30 day mark?
Just want to make sure its done right so theres no delay.
