Question in regards to child support

My ex and I divorced in 2013. I have had primary custody of the kids since then with the ex paying child support. I remarried about a year ago and my two children have decided that they would like to move in with their dad. I am no longer working so I am curious if he asks for child support, how will that be determined? Would it be based on my husband’s (their stepfather) income?
Thank you.

Child support is only based on the two parent’s income. Child support does not take into account the income of stepparents. In your case, if your children lived with their father and the father wanted to modify child support, then your husband’s income would not be factored into the child support worksheet.
