Can I make quitclaim deed without a lawyer?
Anyone can draft a deed, and you do not need any special qualifications in order for the deed to be effective, however I strongly recommend that you do have a lawyer draft the deed for you. Deeds must be completely accurate in order to be effective and to avoid problems down the road for future buyers, ect.
