We are separated…rental property mortgage is in both our names…The rental company that we use to rent the property only has my husband’s name on it…therefore any income from that comes in his name ONLY. I have gotten none of this income…BUT am I not entitled to half of it? I see none of the bills from the rental property but I do have access to the statements via internet and the income has to be more than the expenses…unfortunately the property is in “short sale” so we may not have this issue too long but I just need to know where I stand with this. You are entitled to half the rental income.
