All property aquired during marriage stays as marrital property. If you do not get back together and persue divorce, then all marital property must go through equitable distribution unless, you come to an agreement between the 2 of you and the judge signs off on it as being fair.
If, you get lawyers involved, then you both will lose in the end.
Especially if there are children involved. Evryone loses except the lawyers.
If, at all possible, settle things among yourselves.

What will happen if we will separate without an agreement? It would be just trial separation with possibility to get together later. What will happen with our incomes after moving out to separate residences? Will it still be material property?
Thank you.
