Seperation Agreement in One State Living In Another

My husband and I have a seperation agreement ready to go in NC- he is threatening to file for divorce in MI (because he still has a home there and a drivers license from there.) Will our NC Seperation Agreement still be binding in MI? What portions of the agreement can MI change? I’m unsure of where I will be living at this point either NC or MI. It only takes 6 months to be divorced in that state.

Does anyone know if the dependent spouse receives alimony in MI like they do here in NC? He also admitted to adultery so that may be a factor.

A separation agreement is a valid and binding contract between you and your spouse which can be enforced in any state as written.
