So if someone does’nt want to pay alimony or child support they get a job off the books or better yet leave the state? This is what I have been threatened with if I try to persue any legal action.Is this true , can there be any truth to this ? Putting the offending party in jail won’t be in the best interest of the ex and children dependant on his income.What’s the answer? Thanks for help.
If a person depresses their income in bad faith to avoid paying support, the court will impute income and order support be paid.
