My wife has requested that we split a pension that is in my name. I worked for the company for two years prior to marriage, and for four years during the marriage.
By my math, I should get two-thirds, and she should get one-third. Am I correct?
The martial portion is comprised of 2/3 of the pension, she is entitled to one half of the value of the marital portion.
