My wife decided she no longer wanted to be married after 24 years. No adultery or financial distress. Empty nester and ready to move on. She will not see or consider a marriage conselor. I am the bread winner 6 to 1 income. Am I responsible for spousal support even though I did nothing wrong? Seems unfair?

Spousal support is based on the determination of supporting spouse v. dependent spouse, and then based on need and ability to pay. There are a number of factors that the court considers when determining the support amount and duration that can be found in the statute.
