Spouse refuses to share retirement. We were married the whole 30 years he worked. Retirement comes from New York State while I live in North Carolina. What can be done to claim my share of retirement?
If your spouse will not negotiate with you, you will have to file a court action for equitable distribution in order to force an equitable division of the marital property, including retirement assets.
