my understanding is that you have to file a motion to modify support. You can find the form on this website or contact your child support offices. I would do this now, even though they won’t graduate for a few weeks.
Child support automatically terminates when that child reaches 18, if you have other children you should file a motion to modify child support, if you have only one child, you can stop paying.

If a child reaches the age of 18,is graduating high school and the divorce decree states that the child support shall terminate when the child reaches 18 what must the parent paying child support do? Should they stop paying child support automatically, contact the court or file a motion?
