Traveling husband

If you are planning to serve him with divorce papers you will need some proof that he has been served. You can serve him via certified mail, fed ex, UPS, or have a process server or sheriff serve the complaint on him directly.

my husband and i have been separated for a year in march. i am eager to start the divorce process, but am unsure how to serve the papers. his physical address is in virginia, but he travels almost 100% of the time. from my understanding, serving via certified mail would require him to sign for the papers. what are my other options?
