Verbal/Physical Abuse

What would be concrete proof of verbal/physical abuse? How do the courts view this? Could my ex turn this into a he/said she/said debate? I have pictures showing scratches also text message between me & my ex explaining what happened & him acknowledging that he did it.

Proof of such abuse can be by pictures, medical records, text messages, emails, and your own eye witness account. The evidence that you have is a good start. Keep in mind for text messages and emails, you will need to prove that it was your spouse actually typing the words.

Your spouse could turn it into a he said/she said debate however, at trial, both of you will be sworn to tell the truth and each of you will have a change to cross examine the other and submit other evidence to support your positions.
