Greetings. No, if the court makes an order, you cannot later verify the expenses. Instead of trying to verify later, you need to verify the expenses now through discovery. Thank you.

Just got intital seperation offer my clown of atty. my wife is using. They are wanting 70% of the time for them, $1000 a month for child support and a the van. With this arrangement she will have over $4100 a month to live leaving me with about $2000 to live on. I have gone to the support calculator and the figures she is using seem outrageous to. We pay $650 a month for day care and she pays from her check about $75 at the most for insurance. To get the figures they want I need to assume that there will an addtional $500 of expenses each month for the two kids. I do not believe that number can be even close as for the four of us we rarely spent over $600 a month groceries. I have no intention of agreeing to this as the idea of her living high on the hog while i cannot afford a pot to p… in seems nuts to me. If for some reason i get screwed into paying this can i force the production of the receipts for these expenses and get the amount changed after it is shown to be nuts. also what is the best way for me to get this figure to something more in the ball park.
