This maybe a stupid question but, here goes. If the wife leaves the main house that they share is it considered abandonment? I plane on moving back to my home state…( he works here)
Abandonment is a term that lawyers like to throw around, however the term doesn’t carry much weight anymore, and will not effect the outcome of your property distribution or spousal support claim.
Is this also true if the husband moves out and still pays the mortgage and utilities?
