Alienation of Affection against Company

Husband had inappropriate relationship with intern at work. Her boyfriend worked for my husband. Found out my husband got demoted shortly after the boyfriend left the company to work at another location. This relationship continued during the end of my marriage when I filed for divorce. They are no longer together. I believe they put my husband on a 30 day PIP then after that he got promoted twice. This company has fired people for this but not mine. He makes them a lot of money. So can the company be held somewhat responsible for allowing this to happen & do nothing but a slap on the wrist. To me this is workplace harassment & she isn’t the first one he’s fooled around with at work.

The employer is not responsible for the alienation of affection. Your alienation of affection claim would be against your husband’s paramour, the intern, if she is the cause of the demise of your marriage and the alienation of the love and affection in your marriage.
