Greetings. I cannot tell you why something goes one way at trial or another. How long do you have to pay alimony for?

I have temporary primary custody of my 12yr old son, with she has to pay me child support, but I have to pay her alimony, I makes more than she do, but I have all the martial expenses which leaves me with no money at the end of paying all the bills and when she left she took nothing but her paycheck, so i guess my question is why do I gotta pay her alimony when i have the child and i have showed documentation that I don’t have monies to pay anything outside of bills, Oh my Judge was blind so my lawyer has to listen to a tape to find out how much I recieve in child support and how much I gotta pay in alimony. and on top of that I been ordered to sell a vehicle I have.
