Dear FATHERDORIGHT:

Greetings. I cannot tell you why something goes one way at trial or another. How long do you have to pay alimony for?

The only reliable manner to obtain complete and adequate legal advice is to consult with an attorney, fully explain your situation, and allow the attorney sufficient opportunity to research the applicable law and facts required to render an accurate opinion. I have temporary primary custody of my 12yr old son, with she has to pay me child support, but I have to pay her alimony, I makes more than she do, but I have all the martial expenses which leaves me with no money at the end of paying all the bills and when she left she took nothing but her paycheck, so i guess my question is why do I gotta pay her alimony when i have the child and i have showed documentation that I don’t have monies to pay anything outside of bills, Oh my Judge was blind so my lawyer has to listen to a tape to find out how much I recieve in child support and how much I gotta pay in alimony. and on top of that I been ordered to sell a vehicle I have.
