I only get $800 a month from disability and ss. I can't afford an attorney. I had one but exhausted all my resources. He has a very good attorney and I'm afraid I will not get what I deserve after 36 yrs of marriage. Is there any attorneys that will take a case without funds?
You should review your finances and see if you have access to any funds, even if you are forced to put it on the credit card it will payoff in the end.

My husband and I separated in Aug 14 06 and he was ordered to pay house note until it sold. He did not pay house notes for 2 months. The house has sold now and I will be moving and do not have alimony. His attorney requested that it be reviewed after house sold. I need money to move and he says he doesn’t have any money. He gets retirement and social security and works parttime. He get over $4000 a month. What do I need to do to get alimony started. We were married 36 yrs and I left after a domestic violence incident. (not the first). I’m on disability for 13 years and receive a small amount on his SS. Help!
