Oh, there are tons of them. A lot center around churches which may or may not be what you’re looking for. If you call the Department of Social Services they will be more than willing to provide you with a laundry list of support.
I know of a group that helped me a tremendous amount. It was a divorce care group. There are locations all over the place. You can go to www.divorcecare.org and you can find one near you.
I am wondering if there are support groups for newly separated/divorced spouses. My mini dashound is all ears and appears he is listening but he is unable to offer any vocal support. Has anyone attended any of these groups? Do these groups exist? Do they help ease the pain and offer any good advice? Ideally if the group was located in North Raleigh area that would be great too
