I’m offended by the fact that my ex has forwarded my mail to her attorney, who then forwarded it to my attorney, who was opening and reading it without my permission. My attorney called me wanting to know why a bill was late etc. is this legal ? Ethical .

This seems odd, especially if you are getting billed for the time your attorney spends reaching out to you about the mail. I would let your spouse know that she needs to forward your mail to you directly, and let your attorney know that if he/she receives any of your mail, that it should simply be held for you and not opened or reviewed.
