The settlement money is to be distributed 120 days from receiving funds from refi which is Aug 12th. Is the best way to send funds a cashiers check via UPS or Fed Ex and as long as it’s sent by the 6th I should be fine as far as the agreement gos?
Yes, you can do a cashier’s check with a tracking number on UPS or FedEx. Depending on how your equitable distribution terms are stated, the closing attorney for the refinance should be able to send the proceeds directly to your spouse.
